Electro-General Plastics Corporation has been in the VACUUM FORMING BUSINESS
since 1961 and specializes in difficult to form parts.
We are capable of running a multitude of different plastics including HDPE (High
Density Polyethylene), LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene), HMWP, ABS (including
fire retardant) (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene Styrene), HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene),
PE, PETG, PVC, Acrylic and polycarbonate. We will help you select an appropriate
material based upon your application.
EGP is capable of forming materials from .020 up to .500 inches with sheet sizes
to 72” x 126” (part size 68” x 120”).
Locations and Equipment
EGP currently operates two manufacturing facilities: the headquarters in Grove City,
Ohio and the Mid-Tenn division in Cookeville, Tennessee.
Our 37,000 square foot Grove City facility includes (5) rotary and (3) single stations
for forming and (6) presses and a 3-axis CNC for finishing.
The 20,000 square foot Mid-Tenn division includes (1) rotary and (1) single station as
well as (1) press and a 5-axis CNC for finishing. Radial saws, band saws and routing
stations round out the list of equipment employed by EGP.
Industries Serviced
Almost every industry can benefit from the use of vacuum formed (thermoformed)
plastics. Automotive, heavy truck, food, electrical, appliances, consumer and signs
and displays are just a few industries that employ our products.
